This is a splash screen i made for my Garuda Linux desktop. It also uses the linesma-wp-sgs wallpaper as background but this time i used the garuda-gray.svg icon as a sliding image. I named the splash screen Rising Eagle because it has a rising eagle in it.
Unpack the downloaded Rising-Eagle-Splash-Screen.tar.gz and copy+paste the extracted folder to your /home/your_username_here/.local/share/plasma/look-and-feel/ folder. You can extract the contents of the tar.gz file using a command in a terminal window. Open a terminal window (press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy+paste the commands below in your terminal window.
cd ~/Downloads/
tar -xvzf Rising-Eagle-Splash-Screen.tar.gz
cd Rising-Eagle-Splash-Screen
sudo cp -r Rising-Eagle/ /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/
You can change your splash screen using the Splash Screen options. You can find these under System Settings -> Appearance -> Global Theme -> Splash Screen or you can search for splash screen. Then click on the Rising Eagle splash screen and click on the Apply button.
